Surfing in Portugal is allowed and beaches are open. Portugal is one of the most safe and tourism friendly countries in Europe right now. SURF IN MAY 2021 SURF CAMP is planned between May 8 and May 15!
From April 5 with Ericeira Surf School we are back in the game! Portugal is easing restrictions starting from March 15 and tourism sector is going to be fully opened from May 3. To read more about deconfination plan in Portugal please enter here

What is SURF IN MAY SURF CAMP plan?
Timing: May 8 - May 15 (possible to extend until May 17)
Price: 699 EUR
Level: Beginner/Low Intermediate

What does it include?
7 bed&breakfast nights in the premium shared dorm in The Salty Pelican Yoga & Surf Retreat (possible upgrade to 2-bed room with +100 EUR)
5 surfing classes with Ericeira Surf School pick-up and equipment (board and wetsuit) included.
- 1 day of classes in the water with "safety rules" theory first.
- 4 days of classes in the water with go pro recordings (for analysis)4 surfing workshops:
- 1 opening theory workshop
- 3 video workshops with the video analysis of water recordings and Barefoot Surf Tutorials (the last workshop includes a plan of grow for each surfing guest)3 yoga practices with elements of meditation and breathing techniques (1.5h)
1 beach volley training with Ericeira Beach Volley
1 SUP lesson with Ericeira SUP (+30 EUR)
1 long walk along the cliffs
1 shared dinner in the village on the day of arrival (+20 EUR)
Friday event at the Boardriders surf&skate park
Saturday May 8, there will be a meeting at the Campo Grande bus station in Lisbon and a shared transfer to Ericeira (+6.5 EUR). For everyone who arrives a day or two days earlier Girl on the Wave recommendation is to stay in the center of Lisbon and visit beautiful arounds (tips on mail for free)
Secured booking fee!
The booking fee of 250 EUR is payable by bank transfer and it is necessary to book a place. In case you pay a booking fee and it happens that your country enters the “red list” and Portugal requires from you an obligatory quarantine to enter the country (check here: www.reopen.europa.eu/en ) then your booking fee will be moved to a later surf camp. If everything goes well and your country is free to enter Portugal just with a PCR test you pay the rest EUR 449 by money transfer 7 days before the arrival and you join the surf camp with no stress.
